Circular supply chains: Digital Product Passport and Circular design strategies
October 24 @ 10:00 - 12:00
October 24th
10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Online session
For organisations, adopting circular economy strategies to transition to more environmentally friendly and sustainable practices has become an imminent requirement, not only to align with the global sustainable development agenda, but also as a source of competitive advantage and long-term profitability.
The circular supply chain emerges as a fundamental pillar within the circular economy concept. By focusing on the optimisation of resources, the reuse of materials and the reduction of waste, this approach seeks to close the life cycle of products, promoting more efficient and sustainable management.
In this sense, Digital Product Passports (DPPs) are transforming the transparency of supply chains by providing detailed information on the entire life cycle of a product. This innovation is crucial in today’s market, where sustainability and accountability are essential. By providing comprehensive data, DPPs enable companies to improve their environmental practices. They also help consumers make informed choices. It is important to note that EPDs are not unique to the supply chain, but affect products in any sector.
That is why we would like to invite you to our next interactive online session, where you will receive valuable s on how to implement these strategies in your company, as well as tools for product design.
